Cubed Round Steak (tenderized)

A very lean, tenderized steak that is best when slow cooked. It can be tough, so it is not to be cooked on a grill as with other steaks. We find braising it in a covered dish in the oven does this cut justice and makes a delicious meal. Its great winter 'comfort food' when made with a hearty gravy. The usual package of four weighs approximately one pound.
